"In Equilibri Provvisori, I build an unstable system where drawing behaves like structure and interruption becomes part of the image. Layers of acrylic create a muted ground, while charcoal lines move across it like a continuous, diagrammatic thought—suggesting forms without fully resolving them. Oil pastel introduces shifts in rhythm and pressure, and embedded wool thread acts as a tactile break: a material line that anchors the surface physically, bringing the work between painting and object. Traces of revision and layering remain visible, so the painting reads as a record of decisions—pauses, corrections, and re-balancing—holding an imperfect equilibrium between control and impulse."
